Introduction of environmental management system in line with ISO 14001

SwedSafe, which operates a production location for earplugs in the Swedish town of Tyringe, established a structured environmental management system in accordance with ISO 14001 in the previous year. In November 2020, this was also audited by an external testing institute, which declared that this complied with the requirements of the environmental management system norm ISO 14001 in full. In this context, the previous occupational safety management system in accordance with BS 18001 was converted to comply with the new ISO 45001 standard and also audited. The location was therefore awarded a valid certification in accordance with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
